The CROP Walk is a fund raising activity of Church World Service (CWS). Founded in 1946, CWS is a cooperative ministry of 35 Protestant, Orthodox and Anglican demominations, providing sustainable self-help and development, disaster relief, and refugee assistance around the world.CWS works with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world. Together we reach out to neighbors in need near and far--not with a hand out, but a hand up.
